Alle Psallite Cum Luya is an anonymous three-part Latin motet found in the Montpellier Codex, a 13th century collection of French polyphony.
Programming ideas: If performing with a mixed choir, the piece can be done three times in succession, once with treble voices, once with men’s voices (an octave lower), and finally with all voices together. This piece makes for a exciting opening, particularly as a processional.
